Hello Girls,

My name is Marie Robinson. I am a 27 year old Black Woman from Dayton, OH. Since childhood I’ve had a love for the arts and all things creatvity. Learning to paint, sew, crochet/knit, (the never ending process of) styling 4c hair, as well as the subjective nuances of photography. Though little did I know, that I would take the simple joys and passions of my childhood and create a business ,literally, from my childhood dreams.

I started Let The Girls Be Girls in June of 2024. After what felt like a never ending bout of depression.

Let The Girls Be Girls is a Passion project produced from a love of Dolls, Girlhood, and a longing for representation and community. Here all girls are accepted and encouraged to simply be themselves. From one girl to the next. Let the girls be girls.

What’s Our Mission?
LTG.BG's is two halves of one whole. The first being our anti bullying campaign. We  provide a safe space; to black Girls & Women alike. A community to validate, as well as, guide each other.
The second part is our 18” cloth dolls and accompanying fashion + accessories. Our dolls are a representation of black girlhood. A simpler time when validation and guidance were most important. Times when we should have been allowed the opportunity to focus more on our passions and what brought us joy; for some was time spent in fear or isolation.
LTG.BG’s is a place where EVERY GIRLS STORY MATTERS & every voice has a chance to be heard.
